i had my 'o' levels chinese oral exam today... it was quite ok... the passage was fine except that i stumbled on some of my words... then came current affairs... the topic was "A person donated a huge chunk of money to help the people in need" i expressed my views and it was fine until i answered the question "how would you help people in need but not donating money to help them?" this was what i replied: "when we are free, we should go and visit the people in need and see how we can help them. for example in school, we can help our friends by bringing food from home and give it to them. by doing so, you are settling one of their meals." then the teachers started laughing!!! and i have no idea what i said went wrong!!!! then for the other part on daily issues the topic was "foreigners feel that singaporeans are very arrogant" and i agreed with it. then somewhere down the line something i said tickled them AGAIN!!! they started laughing again... bleahz... but well, if they enjoyed it so be it...
